The settings behind the signature.
The seal itself is not a stored record. Display choices are the only optional memory.
The decision ledger
tazunorevik.site.choice.v1 holds the choice to allow or decline display preferences, plus its expiry. The maximum lifetime is 210 days. An expired value is discarded when the page next checks it, along with the optional setting that depends on it.
A quieter frame
tazunorevik.site.motion.v1 may retain a reduced-motion value after permission is given. Choosing Necessary only removes that optional record. The system’s own reduced-motion preference is respected whether or not this site can remember a choice.
No record of the line
Point visits, completed strokes, hints and undo operations are not written to cookies or local storage. There is no advertising identifier, analytics tag or saved puzzle account in this version of the site.
Erase only what belongs here
Clear saved choices below removes these two domain-specific values, not your other browser data. The seal on the currently open page stays where it is, because that route is held in memory. Reloading is what begins it again.
When choices cannot persist
Browser privacy controls and local-file viewing can prevent storage access. Settings can still be applied during the visit, but may need to be chosen again on another page. The puzzle does not require optional storage in order to work.
